SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATIONS
AC4S is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - To qualify as a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), a business concern must be at least 51% owned by one or more eligible service disabled veterans.
ISO AND DCAA QUALIFICATIONS
ISO 9001 Registered Quality Management System (QMS). AC4S received approval for ISO registration of its QMS in December 2011. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continuous improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.
Checking that the system works is a vital part of ISO 9001. Organizations must perform internal audits to check how its quality management system is working. An organization may decide to invite an independent certification body to verify that it is in conformity to the standard, but there is no requirement for this. Alternatively, it might invite its clients to audit the quality system for themselves.
DCAA-Approved Cost Accounting System. On 27 November, 2012, the Defense Contract Management Agency notified AC4S that the AC4S accounting system remains adequate for accumulating and billing costs under Government contracts. A letter is on file that can be shared with government customers and prime contractors.
